Something wonderful is happening at Hibernia Baptist Church every week and for all age groups. We have classes for Newborns all the way up to our Senior Saints. We know you will fit right in.
Each week, Brother Scott Yirka leads the congregation through a thorough study of the scriptures and what God's word says about being a Christian and following God's will. We have three service times to meet the busy lives of our members. |

Preschool Ministry |

We love our Babies! With many classes to serve all ages, our preschoolers all receive individual attention and teachings about God's great love. We offer preschool choir on Sunday nights and care on Sunday and Wednesday. |

Children's Ministry |

The years of childhood are unparalleled in importance in building character, love, and a positive response to Christ and the church. Our ministry for children strives to encourage children in every area of their growth - spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically and socially. While Sundays and Wednesday nights are filled with regular activities for our children, we do offer special events throughout the year.

Student's Ministry |
|
Join our student ministries on Wednesday night for live praise music and a challenging message from God's Word. We begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m.
On Sunday mornings, come be a part of a Bible Study Group at 9:45 a.m. You don't want to miss out on getting deep into the Bible with our caring and knowledgeable teachers. This year our theme revolves is SERVE as we get involved in our community.

College and Young Single's Ministry |

Our college students have many opportunities to fellowship and worship. We have a great time at the Crossings on Tuesday nights at Hibernia. With fellowship, music, guest speakers and free starbucks, the Crossings is a great place to get connected. Special Needs Ministry |

Do you have a friend or family member that might need a little extra care? Let us support your family in your worship needs. You can feel confident that your loved one with special needs will be taken care of in a warm and stimulating environment while you have the opportunity to grow in God’s Word in a class and service that fits your needs. Our wonderful S.M.I.L.E. (Special Saints In Loves Embrace) Ministry is designed to teach the Word of God through singing songs, playing music, Bible-based lessons and other activities depending on your child's ability. |

Women's Ministry |

There is always something fun and spiritually uplifting going on if it
involves the women ofHibernia Baptist Church. In 2010, wonderful Bible
studies, prayer groups, and outreach programs are being offered to women of
all ages from single gals, those married with children, and of course, the
grandmas. Women from all over Clay county are invited to enjoy our special
events featuring renowned guest speakers, Christian fellowship, food and
fun! |

Men's Ministry |

Great things are happening in our men's ministry. As our church continues to grow, we are able to find new ways to serve the Lord. We look for and offer activities that build relationships and strengthen men's emotional wellbeing through service and support of the church and community, including a yearly golf tournament, an Annual Men's Retreat, Men's Night Out and our Quarterly Prayer Breakfasts. Hibernia Baptist Church offers a number of Bible studies that help build men of God and spiritual leaders within the home. We hope you will join us for enriching and life-changing fellowship. |

Senior Adult Ministry |

Our Senior Saints is quite the adventurous group for anyone 55 years and over. But don't come along if you don't want to have fun! Our exciting group enjoys day trips together and parties where we can get to know each other while celebrating the blessings from the Lord. From Cookouts to daytrips, we enjoy not only getting to know our members better, but also other Christians throughout Jacksonville. Come along and join us for spiritual growth and a whole lot of fun! |

Music Ministry |

For the very young to the young at heart, we have music! If you love to sing or just love to listen, you will enjoy what Hibernia Baptist Church has to offer. Each week our Celebration Choir leads our services, while supported by wonderful musicians on guitar, piano, drums and keyboard. Featured soloist share their testimony through song to lift the name of the Lord. We also have music programs for the youth and children, including special musicals centered around many Christian holidays. Come and be moved by the power of music when it is used specifically to praise the Lord. It is exciting! |

Intercessory Prayer Team |
|
Intercessory Prayer Team members gather prior to services to pray over the teaching pastor. We pray for the pastors, staff and church-wide needs and receive a weekly update of current prayer requests. A major focus of the Hibernia IPT is praying for the FLOCK (Families, Lost, Offering, Children's Ministries, Kindred Spirit.) |
